Of course the REAL lineup Ace, Peter, Paul and Gene are the TRUE AND ONLY KISS. Eric and Tommy! blah nothing but a tribute band now, But I still love the idea of KISS and yes I'll see them this year but I will miss Ace and Peter. I also just saw Ace in San Fransisco, he's sober and playing better than ever. Don't rule out another reunion befor its all said and done

From the Dynasty LP. I saw KISS for the first time in June 1979 at the Carolina Coliseum in Columbia, SC. After a blockbuster Alive II, KISS knew that the bar had been raised for their shows. This stage was more streamlined. The highlight was Gene doing his bass solo, spitting blood, then backing up a few steps and flying to the top of the stage for God of Thunder. That got the hugest pop of the night.

I really love KISS, but this is one of their worst performances! They had much better performances. Their acting is alright, but he just sang out of tune about 100 times! Sorry folks!
