The Bass player is Guy Pratt. One of the best in the world. There is plenty on YouTube just on him. He's written a great book about his career called "My bass and other animals" Does a stand up show too.

It's funny you mention that, cause these have to be some of the worst sounding drum fills I've heard. Almost as bad as at live aid. I hate the straight feel against the shuffle.
I love when the acts that created the song can't play it.
Gilmour is still a God however.

molo: ok, I gave it another listen in respect to your restrained insult. This vesrion is simply one frozen, and victimized by the time/era. Money is not a reggae break down tune, having "hot" musicians wank all over a classic tune just shows how bored Gilmour was
of playing the song. I'm just suggesting that sometimes, the studio version captures the vision perfectly.
