the only morally and intellectually defensible position is to condemn:
1. the slaughter of native americans
2. european crusaders
3. han imperialism
4. violent muslim fundamentalism
condemn all of it. that's morality and intellectual honesty
to excuse 3 and 4 because of 1 and 2 is i don't know exactly what, but its not morality or intellectual honesty. its some sort of weird kind of attempt to avoid a human conscience

Chinese in Tibet are not innocent. Why should they invade/settle in a country that is in not theirs?

After 3 days of fast, only small bowl porridge can be fed until 5 hours later
1] Take care that water needed to be boiled before drinking;
2] Eat NOTHING EXCEPT only brown rice with vegetables, and beans WITH GRAINS OF SALT - boil it until it turns very soft like porridge for babies.
3] Clothing must not be comtaminated with wasted matters.

Dear Chinese parents,
Jesus is the Healer of all sicknesses. In this time of sickness, pray to Jesus for healing and have your child fast without food and water for 3 days and nights, and then your child will be healed.
FASTING enables one's body to kill virus and bateria within, but coupled with prayer to Jesus, it works wonder for healing. After 18 hours of fasting without food and water, the sick one will be not have sympton of running nose and coughing is very much reduced.

Chinese nationals are sincere citizens who are mostly passive; for most Chinese believe in the saying of Confucius: "Do unto others what you want others to do to you". The Chinese nationals rising up to block the Tibetan protesters would affect the image of China and thus harm the blooming economy of China. Why not compromising with the Tibetans like the Mongols did to the Chinese in the past? I believe these Tibetans have been sidelined because of corruptions by officials.

Wow that was profound. I'm going to assume you are Chinese or pro-Chinese govt; in any case, the Chinese govt strongly supports Buddhism and protects its practice according to the White Paper it sent out. The issue here is independence or a greater autonomy, not religion.

I would agree with what you say for the most part. But would ask you opinion on: if these Chinese nationals were able to get overseas journalism, i.e. something other than the govt line, do you believe they would sympathize with the Tibetians? If they dont fully understand the issue, how are they supposed to form a relevant opinion on it?

You are right. Be a citizen of world. Don't confine yourself to one nationstate. Lets be the citizen of world. Lets see what we can do for the best of world. Lets see what we can contribute to the world. There is book you must read "The Open Road" by Pico Iyer. Read is book as a comman citizen of world of Tommarrow not by positioning yourself to one stance and state.
