Of course violence ... ( 1 year ago by silverbackman)
Of course violence towards the State itself is a different matter. It's better to go after the core......and that of course is the federal government. The people today are so dependent on the federal government.......especially when it comes to money. The US dollar is the reserve currency of the world.......if the central bank of the US collapses, so does money and the lifestyle obsession of money.
It doesn't mean we ... ( 1 year ago by silverbackman)
It doesn't mean we have to give up technology......it just means that we need to replace our current system with decentralized communities where sovereignty of the individual reigns supreme over everything else. A land where all institutions are organized horizontally (equal) rather than vertically (hierarchal).
Technology itself ... ( 1 year ago by silverbackman)
Technology itself isn't what is keeping people from the truth.....it is mainly the dominate institutions of our day......mainly religions like Christianity that espouse dualism and emphasize the material aspects of the spirit. This religious ignorance is reinforced by the State who are led by equally as ignorant fundies like Bush. Then comes the corporations, the parasitic children of the State, who reinforce their economic rule through the state.
Yes we need to " ... ( 1 year ago by silverbackman)
Yes we need to "destroy" the passive mindsets of small town folk who believe they need to work as hard as they do as wage slaves. How can such a change in consciousness occur? This was tried during the 60s and early 70s with psychedelics like LSD, but ever since the prohibition it seems like the movement of enlightenment came to an end. Perhaps the 100% legal psychedelic DPT can be the new key to open the door of the small town folk's mind.
I think Thomas ... ( 1 year ago by silverbackman)
I think Thomas Jefferson described the American Dream better than anyone. He warned us against corporations and the greedy bureaucrats they produce, as seen in this quote by him;
"I hope we shall crush ... in its birth the aristocracy of our moneyed corporations, which dare already to challenge our government to a trial of strength and bid defiance to the laws of our country."
Jefferson admired ... ( 1 year ago by silverbackman)
Jefferson admired the Native Americans who lived pretty anarchistic communal lives. He even stated that they live far happier lives than those under European governments. He also state that anarchism cannot be possible with large amounts of population living as one entity, which is why anarchism can only arise from small independent communes.

Please explain how ... ( 1 year ago by fooblet)
Please explain how a tribe is "anarchistic." By definition, anarchy is a state of lawlessness and disorder (usually resulting from a failure of government).
fooblet, anarchism ... ( 1 year ago by silverbackman)
fooblet, anarchism is an entire set of political philosophies. Of course politicians and other statists have used it in a sense to mean disorder and chaos, but these derogatory meanings have nothing to do with the philosophy of anarchism.
Native American tribes/nations lacked the elaborate hierarchy system of Europe and thus there was more freedom and equality than in European kingdoms.
Anarchy means ... ( 1 year ago by silverbackman)
Anarchy means absence of rulers/the state or hierarchy. Although there was a certain degree of hierarchy in some tribes for the most part people were free and worked together as equals. They had no absolute currency that made people greedy and selfish like we do today in America. Even tribe leaders did not have anywhere near the power that Western nation-state leaders had. There was less disparity between the sexes and more "democratic" control by the people.

I hope they washed that shoe before she sucked on it. That's a good way to get sick, sucking on the bottom of a heel that's been run through the cess and muck of a major metropolitan downtown area. Not that I'm saying that Chicago is dirtier than any other city, or anything like that. Actually, Philadelphia is a real shithole these days. You know, somebody ought to tell that mayor that it wouldn't hurt to send a cleaning detail down Kensington Avenue every once in a while.

As for the arts: Great production.
As for the meaning: Well, I guess there's no such thing as a free lunch. In the beginning Sara becomes captive after taking a free drink - in the end she is working for another person again after taking food from the woman. The soldiers in the middle of the series believe they are working for the common well, as does Sara and the woman in the end. Both the soldiers and the woman force their ideas upon others with violent behaviour. Both seems equally wrong.
