Tee Hee, I haven't seen this in like 20 years. You go Mrs. G! It's such a girls Harry Potter. I would rename it thought to, "Mildred Hubble and the Goblet of cheese!" And to think I thought Kraft Cheese and Macaroni was the cheesiest! Love it!

aaaaaah I loved the worst witch books as a kid, and I used to watch this film all the time. Its so dreadful that its amazing! There was a worst witch series too, but made by different people and it was much more recent.

It's actually quite good acting. The script obviously asked her to ad lib. 'Mine, mine mine!' and she deliberately hammed it up in line with the anti-stereotype she has created.
