Today was X2's Media Day at Six Flags Magic Mountain. Now you're here to see photos and videos of this new ride in action so we will not dissapoint! You'll get a rediculous amount of both! =) First off, I just want to say that the new FX really *DO* add to the overall experience. The music sound track was great! The fire effect was fantastic! The coaster still "rides" about the same as it did before, so if you're looking for a smoother ride, try the inside seat. Either way you'll have a blast (literally) on the newly transformed X2!

yea I went on wed and it was dead. I got right on x2 and was done riding everything by 1:30. Didn't use the flash pass for anything. So if anyone goes, go midweek and you will walk right on the rides. Deja Vu was closed though.

lol, yea when the flames hit I was like um yea too hot today for flames. Oh yeah buy the souvenier cup because you get free refills. Cost 14 and some change to get one but it was so hot that I got atleast 15 refills of water/powerade.

I love how it switches between the blurry, rough POV shots and the off-ride train shots, it reminds me of that scene with the tire in Night at the Museum. XD

This ride was mega awesome, i went for the first time (on X2) last month. But it was not as scary as i thought ti would be. Ill try the front next time. Oh, and when the flametrowers come up, it burns like mad! X2

i do think this is a technological marvel, but uhh, when the chairs turn it was a little bumpy. the train part was smooth, but not the chairs turning. oh and i couldnt hear the music.
