| I don't understand your question - 'built in mask.' But maybe you are asking about the lack of mouth opening? That and the eyes get cut on the final finishing. |

| The mold is filled for about 45-minutes then the latex is poured back out. What is left behind is a wet latex skin. The latex that is next to the plaster has its moisture sucked out through the porous plaster. It dries in about 24-hours to a thickness of an 1/8th of inch. It really is that simple. |

| Both have their applications. But the softer silicone would be more realistic if you are doing closeup work, in most cases. In film work the camera is far enough away to where you would not notice a difference. |

| The technique of slushcast mask making as shown in this video is not designed for dynamic facial movement. It is meant to generically fit anyone's head. To get decent movement, you have to learn to make molded prosthetics; a much more difficult and expensive technique. |

| I check out the parts that are flexible like wrist bands and I was wondering where and how did they make parts like that. a flexible wrist band, do you know what I'm talking about? I wanted to cast flexible parts for any action figure. can it be used to customize action figures of all sizes? what part or piece can you use to pour plaster on? I wanted to make flexible parts like small helmets, ropes for action figures. |
