Its the only Latin country in Asia, if you getz it (i.e. in music, temperament, friendship and family values, manana attitude, chivlary,etc.). That's not true because the Philippines is not located within Polynesia, Micronesia, and Melanesia, the three regions of Oceania, which is required to actually fall under the Pacific Islander category, much like Japan and Taiwan being Asian continents, not Pacific Islands.
