I totally agree. I first heard this song over thirty years ago and it still moves me; I was so happy to find it on youtube. It is like finding love that you felt you would never find and that you don't quite deserve. This sounds so empty and pointless after listening to Leon Russell´s and Donny Hathaway´s versions. I think this song can´t be sung by every mama's boy. But thats just me. Sorry!

I understand that tastes may vary and that there are no absolutes when it comes to enjoying music. Having said this, I honestly cannot comprehend why anyone would spend dime on this guy, when you can get the real deal at the same cost. If you like crooners, check out Sinatra, Tony Bennett or Harry Connick Jr.
If you like this song check out the original version by Donny Hathaway. Then I think you will understand what I mean when I say that Buble has absolutely zero soul. Zero
