I love Snake's growly laugh. Also the stealth camo is a way cooler reward than the bandana and you know it. And Snake does find his new path in life...with Otacon in Philanthropy! Hee.

I prefer this ending so much to the Meryl one. This one seems more genuine (and besides, we all know that Snake and Otacon end up together XP), whereas the Meryl one seemed contrived-Hollywood. To each their own opinion.

I hate how the area where Fox and Snake fought is now recognized as "Zanzibar LAND." And for all those who think they know a ton of Metal Gear and begin to try and lash at me; I KNOW that it's the original name of the area from Metal Gear 2 but just referring to it as "Zanzibar" seems so much more convincing. Seriously, don't take it personally, ppl; it's definitely just a personal pet peeve.

both endings are in the ps1 version. if u surrender to ocelots torture u get the time parradox ending (otacon ending) if u withstand the torture you get the real ending (meryl ending). SNAKE + OTACON RULE!

im almost sure that the otacon ending is the real one, since the two of them join forces and become philanthropy. also in mgs2 snake has the stealth camo but not the bandana. idk though, since i havent played mgs4 yet.

Snake reveals he has the Bandanna near the end of MGS2, when he reunites with Raiden in the Ascending Colon (LOL he reunites with Raiden in the colon). He even mentions the Bandanna gives him unlimited ammo.
