Video Description:
This short scene from the romantic ballet Giselle, features Svetlana Zakharova, as Giselle and Roberto Bolle as Albrecht (Loys). It captures the blossoming love between innocent and shy Giselle, a peasant girl, and a young man she knows only as Loys but he is actually nobleman disguised as a peasant.
After Loys declares his love, smitten Giselle picks a flower and plays 'he loves me, he loves me not' but soon throws away her flower and bursts into tears as she realises it will end in 'he loves me not'. Loys picks the dropped flower and out of her sight, removes a petal, and convinces despondent Gieselle that she is mistaken. They both then dance in joy with some delightful grand jetes.

ジゼルは何時見てもいい。何も話さず自分の気持ちに置き換えられるからバレイはいいけど、普段はこうようには行きません。自分の思いを芸術に託しましょう。相手に思いを伝える時、チケット代は少々高いけどバレイはいいかなと思うけど、でも舞台とちょっと落差があり過ぎかな。

I have been grown watching ballet from the best quality. Being Cuban, i have had the privilegde to watch both the best Cuban (Alicia Alonso, among others) and magnificent Russian ballerinas and male ballet dancers. Of course, i have seen magnificent dancers from many other countries. It would be long to name them all here. But I tell you this lady is a goddess! This is the most astonishing interpretation of Giselle i have ever seen! They both are incredibly good.
