to be fair, she was so beautiful. im a straight girl, but she was stunning. i think its really sad how she wrote all of these types of songs, and noone picked up on how depressing these songs were, and that these songs were probably her true feelings, like while writing this one she probably was thinking about suicide. i dont know, its just a guess, but listening back on songs, we should have seen her breakdown coming.
she was great, she still is, but she needs to be left alone now, xxx

yeah i agree with abitbooshmad i think she hit her head in the early papparazzi attack. you can kinda see shes not really stable after that, she kinda falls into the wall a few times walking to her room. also, i dont think she slit her wrist, i know it looks like it, but if you look at the end, her wrist is still like that so i think its just a bracelet. i think aswell the reason we dont see blood in her hair before this, might be because she doesnt actually die, so isnt bleeding etc. :) xxx

I was never a fan of hers, in fact I hate the type of music she represents, but I like this song. It is much deeper and more meaningful than most of her other stuff.
This song is sad :( I figured it was written about Justin, but it (combined with the video) is also a good example of what the cult of celebrity can reduce somebody to.
If she in fact wrote this herself, it is very telling that she could go from "Hit Me" to this after only a few years in the spotlight.

I read a little about this video on wiki. It appears there is no slit wrist at all. Her head wound comes from the camera that hits her and she doesnt realize it until shes in the tub and loses consciousness. What looks like a slit wrist, is a red string worn by members of the Kabbalah Centre, which is a religious place that Madonna introduced her to.
