I was pretty pissed that the 4 Supermen who showed up weren't even mentioned. However, it was well drawn and animated. The voice acting sucked. But I agree, Irategamer, this would be a kickass live action movie, or atleast a trilogy. The Lex Luther story lines for the movies tired. I watched this with my five year old daughter she cried. Didn't traumatize her too much just for an hour. Nice review, we should push Hollywood to do a movie and have Donner direct it. This could have been better.

Well i never saw X-men 3,or 2 i saw 1 and wasn't really impressed,My favorite marvel character was always the Ghost Rider,the movie would have been good if nicholas cage wasn't in it.So i would say Spiderman 1 was the best marvel movie

You're not supposed to compare it to the comic. When they wrote the story for the comic, it was intended to be read not watched. This is just an adaptation.

it's like comparing all the batman franchises
there is a degree of crossover, and the themes generally remain the same, but they do not exist to emulate eachother

Comic book storylines don't really translate that well outside of that format. Whereas the storyline in the comic encompassed four different Superman titles, some JL crossover and had a year to play out.
On the otherhand, a movie format has 90 minutes usually to do it. So, yeah, they have to do some editing and changes to make it fit the format.
Eradicator, Steel, Cyborg Superman and Superboy are just too much to fit in there with Doomsday and the whole (lame at the time) JL to boot.
