Comments have been disabled out of the need to take care of myself. I appreciate all the love, support and messages that I'm not alone. However, I've come to realize that it's not a good thing to be faced with people's responses every.single.day!
To all the women AND MEN out there who have gone through this, you are not alone. If you need to talk about your experience (and need a response) please go to RAINN.org. They have the time and resources to talk to people on the internet and/or phone. I don't have those resources. So if you write me, chances are I won't be able to respond.
Before anyone else says anything, it's being prosecuted. No, I can't talk more about it... and every person who is in this situation needs to make whatever choices are right for THEM.
The - 1 in 3 women will be sexually assaulted in their lifetime - statistic comes from the FBI official website. Go check it out for yourself.
The messages I get from other victims are many, the emotional toil significant and my time, limited. So don't think I'm not responding due to lack of care. Sometimes you just have to look out for yourself.
As I mentioned above, if you need to talk to someone about this, the people over at RAINN.org are incredible and staff online private chat. Many of the people there have been through a sexual assault themselves and ALL of them care. Please, talk to someone like those at RAINN.org, a minister, a counselor, or a friend or family member.
Breaking the silence is powerful.
If you are writing to tell me that you're thinking about me, I appreciate it. Unfortunately, due to the ENORMOUS amount of messages I get, I very rarely can respond.
So if you're truly writing to support me, thank you! You can be sure I read it. But chances are I won't have the time to write each of you back.
I appreciate ALL of the love, support and concern.
If you are writing to give me ADVICE, !!!stop now!!! I surround myself with people who know me personally and are thus able to truly give advice, and people who are professionals who know how best to help me maximize my life and potential.

i just... can't even begin to want to imagine what it must have been like and what it still does to you. i have a girlfriend and i really love her, and just the thought of someone hurting her makes me want to never let her go places by herself. it's scary that someone u really love can be so easily hunted...i don't know if there is a god in the christian sense, but i guess right and wrong go beyond that. i truely wish it wouldn't happen to anyone. be strong and kick back harder. love from italy

Hi, kicesie. I'm really impressed by your bravery but moreso your candor. You're being honest and real with what's going on, and I really hope everyone takes strength from this. I do, however, want to point out the passive males. As horrific as the men who do this are, I've encountered too many "men" who let this kind of thing slide among friends. They don't believe the victim, they don't really think their friend would do that. Or, to me, worse yet is when they decide they can't do anything.

Sounds like some one I know. There are people out there that aren't capable of knowing right and wrong and will never feel bad about causing pain. If you don't do whatever it takes to stop them, they will hurt others.

... Wow, i havent actually seen a video more emotional video out of all the video's i have watched on youtube. You seemed pretty pissed, not that i blame you, If i was in your situation i would be plotting his death or something, not waiting for the "law" to put him away

I feel so lucky... i don't quite know what to say... i am crying, no one should have to go through the pain you did. many people joke about other kids in my school, like 'Anya rapes little girls' but it goes to far. i have tried to do so much for cases like yours, but not much is truly counted. i am so sorry about what happened, and i wish you luck on getting through

i know, happened to me also, i was 11, he was 15,from that day on, it haunts me, i trust know one, because of him, he blames him being high, i have tried everything to forget, but nothing helps, just know your not the only one.the sad thing about that, he didnt get punished, 1 year in sargus!thats all he got, but in my mind, he deserves 1,000,000.ever need talk im here.

I couldn't agree more. Like they say, all it takes for bad to win is for the good guys to do nothing. And far too many men are guilty through inaction. Others are guilty through ignorance... But women should also be actively protecting their 'sisters' (sisters in humanity) and doing something. Far too many women don't want to speak too loudly about it in fear they will sound 'feminist' or as though they hate men. And in doing so, become guilty through inaction.....

I am a guy giving my thoughts on the whole idea. I am not sure where to start,but i can say I absolutely HATE rapist with every fiber of my body. I have never met a rape victim, but I always hear about it. Everyday its on the news or something. I hate hearing about how some guy took advantage of some girl or how a group of guys thought it would be cool to rape some girl and laugh about it.

I am a guy giving my thoughts on the whole thing with rape. 1 I hate rapist with a passion. Anyone that thinks it alright to forcefully hold down a girl and have sex with her should not go to jail, but either killed once found or given the same punishment they gave to their innocent victim. I wish I could have been there to save you all, and be their in the future to save potential victims. No im not a girl, but I hate knowing that some men find it cute to forcefully have sex with a young woman who is not engaging in the act mutually. I wish i could have been able to save those who were rape victims, and prevent them from having to deal with this. I have important women in my life especially my girlfriend, and I would kill the bastard that dared to rape her. Rapist are not people.

OMG i am so sorry, that about happened to me when i was 14 after the movie a friend was walking home (what i thought was my friend) he always said i have body and that he wish he could have sex with me but i wasnt ready and he jumped on me in the allay by my house and i knew thats what he wanted i screamed but no one heard me until my best friend walked by and saw it

hi im also a guy like others that have left messages i hate rapist my partner was raped when she was 14 its hard to know wht to say sometimes but the only thing i know wht to say is try not to thik even though thats the hardest thins to do and also if any onw reads this and knows the name of the person that put a video of a 25 year old women being rape for 14 hours in front of her kids please let me know as someone is going to pay for that sorry to here about wht happened thanks
