The Courtyard hotel, set to open in 2009, will feature a "green" roof and be located in the revitalized NoMA (North of Mass. Ave) business district. D.C. Mayor Adrian M. Fenty joined Marriott executives and owners Robert Finvarb, Craig Welburn, David Wilmot, Thomas Hopkins and Barron Harvey Ph.D to celebrate the groundbreaking.
