Making love was actually written by Jim Steinman as was Total Eclipse of the Heart. I would imagine it was by Jim's request that Bonnie performed this version.

Have you heard Jim's other band, Fire Inc? They performed two songs for the "Streets of Fire" soundtrack - the original version of 'Nowhere Fast' {ML turned it down, and Jim wrote him the version used on "Bad Attitude"}, and 'Tonight is What it Means to Be Young'.

I think this song reminds me of Ben Bernacke and Hank Paulson. They are making money out of nothing at all. The lyrics even match up with what has been done.
