This video demonstrates, very clearly, how the human eye could have evolved, and that it is NOT irreducibly complex.
This had been in my favorites for a long time, but it never received much attention. I got tired of linking people to it, so I figured I would upload it myself, for greater visibility.

Creation itself does not obey, in the theory of the big bang, the laws of physics. In fact, it explicitly violates them.
Actually religions explanation "God is eternal" is not that bad an explanation for creation.
As if every bit of evolution was decided by an animal that thought this or that would be the "hip" thing to do.
It is largely our tendency to anthropomorphize everything that is to blame for people's inability to comprehend natural laws... Our brains are wired so that we *want* to see persons in things.
The thing is, it doesn't matter that much. The important first step is to have a plausible path from point A to point B, which shows undeniably than camera eyes would fairly easily have evolved through purely materialistic means, without any need for paranormal means.
You seem to consider "photoreceptors" as some kinds of organs. Don't. They're merely basic patch of cells able to react to light, you just need a fairly basic pigment in it, which would be a variation of some other preexisting pigment.
And we do have that today: earthworms, for example, have light-sensitive cells scattered on their bodies. Doesn't help them see anything, but it makes them aware of being in open air, which makes go into a burrowing frenzy to hide.
Except, you know the part where it fails to actually explain anything. If we just said goddidit and gave up looking for natural explanations, we might still be using leaches and horses.
Really, Nature just Knows ??? wow, isn't nature smart.
so Nature must know what it intends to mutate into & the intended outcome.
i wonder if 'science' can prove 'nature' has such intellectual wisdom.
