I remember buying import versions of their EPs in the early 1980s... they cost a fortune then, if you could even find them in the first place.
I hope they can put aside their personal differences and get back together (musically) at some point in the future. One of the best, most unique bands of all time.

please spare me the elitist bull shit. i've been in the scene since before you learned how to talk. ethereal, dream pop, etc is GOTH - just like future pop, electro pop and ebm is INDUSTRIAL. all of the pseudo divisions are just to make elitists feel so much smarter and better than the rest of us lamers who actually knew these guys when they were playing live and met and drank with them, as I and others from my time did. those dumb ass genres didn't even exist then. and they STILL don't.

uhhh. wtf are you talking about? was I there around 1977 when bands like Bauhaus first started? No. But when I was a teenager these bands were still around, and they were still playing live. And because I am related to a goth musician that I will not mention - I met plenty of them. again, spare me the elitism. most of them were luke warm about the goth label, or any label for that matter. but all of these wierd names for invented genres didn't pop up until the mid to late 90's
