I think they mentioned a guy called "New snake" in the trailer overview. If thats true then this might not be the end of snake after all.

i recal liquid ocelot telling solid snake in MGS 2 as he's "taking back" the RAY that big boss was in his 50's when they took his genes and so forth letting solid snake know that he hasn't got much more time to live... so that's probably why he's aging a bit more quickly.

after about 10 pages of reading i said i would post.
to make a long story short, unless u are working on the game with kojima dont bother trying to make sense of the videos.
the only way u will find out the story behind this is to either complete the game or read some spoliers after it is relesed.
every mgs game from ps1-ps3 has had an air tight story line that u wont unsolve from just watching videos.

im a huge mgs fan i played mgs twin snakes mgs2 sons of liberty where you use raiden my favorite mgs3 i cleared that game like 5 times mgs portable ops for psp too and im waiting this one the last chapter of solid snake in my opinion i think solid snake will die with liquid in some really cool and dramatic way and then they will clone solid to make a new snake, well thats my opinion
