Robert Neville (Will Smith) is a brilliant scientist, but even he could not contain the terrible virus that was unstoppable, incurable, and man-made. Somehow immune, Neville is now the last human survivor in what is left of New York City and maybe the world. For three years, Neville has faithfully sent out daily radio messages, desperate to find any other survivors who might be out there. But he is not alone. Mutant victims of the plague -- The Infected -- lurk in the shadows... watching Neville's every move... waiting for him to make a fatal mistake. if youve read the BOOK "I Am Legend" youll see that they really are vampires. that part where sam ran into the dark building with the hive, he got the thing out and used a VIAL OF BLOOD to do it. they CANT GO OUT IN SUNLIGHT.

it's a great movie! it's just pretty awesome ... even the movie made a sence! it's one of the best one EVER! i had to cry, when the dog died and at some other scenes ... that Will Smith was in that film was almost enough ;) he's a deam hot guy!
and dudes: if you don't like the trailer, do NOT watch it. you're bored, right?

I liked it but I hated how "ALL" the monsters where CGI, it was like watching a videogame or cartoon at moments. I wanted to gove this an "A" in my book but the best I'm willing to do is a "B-" also the plot, setting, and script was very cliche'.

Maybe you are right, but I still couldn't enjoy the movie as much as I wanted to basically because the creatures were too cartoonish looking. Much like the Hulk Movies in which the Hulk moves like he's made out of Jello.

i lovet his movie... so sad, i cried twice. i heard that this was the only movie will smith's character ever died in... and then i heard that there was an alternate ending where he didn't die.... is that true?? i don't think the movie would have been as good if he survived. i mean he finally gets to see his wife and daughter again. and the ending credits song, redemption song, that was a perfect choice!!!
