Barikad Crew Accident Tragedy

On Sunday, June 15th 2008, 3 Haitian rappers from the Barikad Crew, another band member, and the group's driver died in a terrible car accident.
They were electrocuted and burned beyond recognition when a high tension electrical wire struck their car. The fiancée of the lead member, Papa Katafal, who was several months pregnant committed suicide soon after the accident. This accident is reverberating throughout Haiti, a country where hopes are easily dashed, and promises often broken. Long after the car and the bodies had been removed, fans came to the accideent site in droves to reflect, ask questions, and pay their last respects to a music group that gave them hope.

I was falling for Deja Voo! I wanted to meet the guys on my next trip to haiti! I wanted to talk to them so bad! Oh my god!!! That's not fair! I don't like things are! I hope the rest of the crew surrenders :(

I did not know of these young men but after this incident i did some research and saw what they were about i started getting teary eyed. My deepest condolences to their loved ones and
they will be missed. It brings back bad memories cuz 2 of my brothers died at the same time the same way in a car accident on vacation in haiti. a couple of us was in the car but GOD preserved our lives.

Dade baby where u at? It's a shame ya had to die in front of your friends and could have lived if the fire was put out (ya'll would be really hurt though) and Dade didn't even get burned, he succombed to his injuries. Drinking and Driving is truly a no-no!
