Ok people...i have the most updated version of the iphone AND itunes. Iphone2.1 and Itunes 8.0 IT WORKS!!! aegeus24 is spot on. IF you don't see the "Ringtones" icon in the sidebar, simply go to "edit" hit "preferences" then check the "ringtone" feature and VIOLA!! then proceed as Jimmy said! Ur right..that song WAS from Kill BIll...i dont' know why i thought i heard it in transformers. Cheers dude

So with my 2.1 iPhone, when I get my ringtone in the Ringtones menu, I can select it all I want, but then the iPhone reufses to play it when I get a call. Same thing if I set that tone to be an alarm. Any ideas?

it could be, but try closing itunes and double click the new ringtone to open itunes and add the ringtone.

How to change file extesion in Vista!
1.Click Computer in the Start menu
2.Press the Alt key on the right side of your keyboard
3.A hidden menu will appear in the Computer window. Click Tools and then click Folder Options
4.Click the View tab
5.Uncheck Hide extensions for known file types
6.Click OK to save your changes!
