Video Description:
A 1984 mock rockumentary directed by Rob Reiner and starring members of the semi-fictional heavy-metal glam rock band Spinal Tap. The film is a mock rockumentary that satirizes the wild personal behavior and musical pretensions of bands such as Led Zeppelin, Iron Maiden, AC/DC, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Queen, Dio, Aerosmith, Kiss, Black Sabbath, Motörhead, Judas Priest, Sweet, Pink Floyd and The Beatles, among many others.
Much of the film was ad libbed.
The three core members of Spinal Tap, David St. Hubbins, Derek Smalls and Nigel Tufnel, are portrayed by the actors Michael McKean, Harry Shearer, and Christopher Guest respectively.
