dude snakes eat their prey whole. they eat rats whole too. when the rat is in their stomach, u can see it's shape in the snakes body. but their stomach acids are like super strong or something and decompose it to munch lol

"all snakes are cannibals" - that just sounds like all snakes go hunt each other, but that isnt true.
Even male Lions kill thier own (male) children if they have a chance to and I have never heard anyone say: "all lions are canibals!".
So the sentence would be correct to say:" All male Sakes are cannibals (there is a chance they would eat their childrens)." and not that american "If we lie , we get more viewers" bullshit!

Real talk. Most snakes are petrified of the human race and won't bite unless it has no other option. If one gets into your house(especially if it's a garter), it's more than likely looking for food(rats). Most people are petrified of snakes but these guys will avoid you like it's going out of style if you've ever caught one in your house. I have. They do not like confrontation and exhibit cowardly behavior. Some people keep them as pets.
