The passage of time & mortality itself. Only Bob could sing this. I love the clip. It's like an old guy watching old super 8 films of his recently departed & much missed wife. More frailer than the flowers, these precious hours, that keep us so tightly bound. Priceless.

Modern Times is a masterpiece. Dylan is the best American songwriter ever. The man is national treasure. plus Scarlette Johansen is FINE as hell. notice the MN license plate in this footage. Just great. Any haters are shamefully ignorant. Even if it's not your type of music you gots to RESPECT!

I'm gonna listen to all the songs in Modern Time and find all the songs that discredit modern music. I will treasure every word, because they are the words of wisdom and acute observation.
As Dylan quoted, there hadn't bee a good record release for about 20 years (mostly just music that qualifies under "modern music"). It's time we put a stop to gay pop, rap/hip hop, and heavy metal once and for all. Let's enjoy the classics and bring the 70s back to life.

I don't know if I agree with Dylan. There has been some decent albums put out recently: I.e. coldplay? I think while they are overplayed, their music is very beautiful.
