This was Tarver's best night against Jones' worst night and I still don't see what the contreversy was about. jones still won this fight by 4 rounds if you ask me. The only contreversy was it was a tough fight for Jones and anyone that knows boxing knows what the move back down from heavyweight did to him. That's the only reason he had stamina trouble in this fight. As far as being KOd by Tarver the next fight, then by Johnson, it took a long time for him to recover from the heavyweight move.

Jones was at a low point in his career when he met Tarver three times. His body didn't even look the same. Now he looks like he's got some of the older stuff back. I might be enough to pull out one or two last nights of greatness.

YUP..Tha weight really fucked his body up..jus kno in his last couple fights his body looked like it use 2..and tha funny thing..tarver said roy was using excuses but wen he had 2 cut weight against hopkins and lost he couldnt say shit.

You're exactly right. Roy's body looked deflated for a few fights after the win over Ruiz. Now he looks ripped again, but the years it took for him to get back there took it's toll. Still the first fight with Tarver, IMO, wasn't much of a controversy. On my count Jones won that fight by 3 or 4 rounds. And the second half of the fight Tarver wasn't even in it. Jones didn't need the rematch to prove he was the best, but I understand why he took it. Jones is on a completely higher level IMO.

moving up & down N weight takes a toll on anyones body plus roy put on 20 lbs of PURE muscle his body fat was 2%. N tha 1st fight tarver knew he had an advantage wit roy being weak thats y he rushed him like that no otha fighter eva rushed roy if they did they got KO'd. so thats y tarver was so confident. as tired as roy was he shoulda knocked him out easy. tha 2nd fight was a lucky punch tarver walks around @ 200 lbs anybody roy's size that got hit wit that lucky punch woulda went 2 sleep.
