Billy does a good job on this track. Sounds quite similar to George Cummings whose on the original (he left the group a few months before this performance, I belive).

Billy Francis is actually the originally singer of this song. I believe you mix it up with the song 'Pennecillin Penny' which was performed by George Cummings.

I'm not sure if he was the first to sing it, but later on it always was Billy's version they did on stage.

George Cummings originally sang "I got stoned and I missed it" but after he left the band Billy sang it. On the recording of "Get my rocks off" Billy sings it but I'm pretty sure the George is singing the chorus with him
