Ellsberg is the actual guy involved with the pentagon papers. Sorry your view is so superficial that you first look at his appearance & judge him as a crazy old man. He is trying to show how the government can & does lie to get us into war. The Gulf of Tonkin incident is now admittedly a "mistake". 58,000 US soldiers died in Vietnam for that mistake. We left with our tails between our legs & now we deal with them regularly.

I do not care about Silverstein's incriminatory words, the fact remains the steel-structured WTC7 building disintegrated, got pulverized, fell down in classic controlled demolition style. werebear1: It's amazing to me how someone can watch the video footage of the WTC collapses and not quickly determine the implausibility of the "offical story" of how those buildings (incl. Bldg 7) fell. I fear that the powerful elite that control our nation will ensure that we'll never get the true account for another 50-100 years, if ever. I've read a lot about Mosaddeq, the Iranian leader, and I know the US did a bad thing there. I also know that Mosaddeq was anti-American, it was the Cold War, and he was NEVER democratically elected, as the government he got elected to lead was quasi-democratic at best.
Supporting Mosaddeq was automatically opposing US goals during a nuclear-threatened global conflict, but opposing him threw our support behind other shady thugs.

Dollar~there is much support for your accusation and I thank God for it. There is also extraordinary evidence that when the US decides to turn against Israel that it is soon visited by trouble...economic, natural and otherwise. I am not suggesting that Israel hasn't done some bad stuff at times, but the myth that there is this tit for tat dynamic in the Middle East against her is just intellectually lame.
