Must have been great to live in a time with great popular music and the pop singers didn't get into idiot politics or embrace 8th century religious cults of murder and mayhem.
So Cat Stevens is no longer with us, he's Yusuf Islam and has embrace "it's a religion of peace", suicide bombings, stone un-veiled women to death, oh well. These things happen.
But, we have this immortal music from Cat Stevens when he was Cat Stevens.

I LOVE Cat Stevens/Yusuf Islam. He just recently started singing again, I bought his 2 latest CDs. When I listen to this music, it's hard to believe that big voice comes out of that baby face. I never saw pictures of him when he was this young. Thanks for sharing it! This was before he got tuberculosis, or maybe while he had it, he's awfully thin. Don't know. I'll have to look up what year he got it. Thanks for collecting so many of his songs.
