DUde i tried doin that till the end but i m getting an error while syncing that this Iphone cannot play this file n hence the file was not copied ..

i did exactly what you did.
it worked fine after i put the first one in
but after i put the second one, it duplicates one of them and the otehr one is no wherer in sight and the duplicate copy plays the same thing as the copied ring tone

wow that is really weird! they are different names arent they? yeah just make sure you do everything exactly the same as what i have done, because i have never had that problem before. Let me know how you get on or if you find out what you did wrong!

make sure you do not move your ringtone into a different folder or something. also make sure you have saved it in the correct format and renamed it to the correct format.

try dragging it from the left column in winscp. so find ur ringtone in the left column, then drag it over from there, instead of dragging it straight from a folder or the desktop.

i am not sure sorry, this method only works for iPhone. not too sure of the process for putting them on sony ericsson. it would be very different though!

Yes it will work for SE phones, but it depends which SE phone you have.
You save the files as an mp3 and copy it to the phone memory

hey , its real ez, just basically , do what bit u want for your ringtone, but save as an mp3 instead , works pefectly m8
