an incredible movie... maybe one of the finest ever created, right up there with 2001 a space odyssey and solaris (the original one). not that you care, but my dad looks just like eddie!

i found dune to be a bit of a propaganda against technology and democracy, and then in children of dune it contradicted itself, and then later it again contradicted the whole notion of a superior, religious leader... but made for good viewing. THX 1138 is an epic...
