The role of the U.S ... ( 1 year ago by anyusmoon1)
The role of the U.S. in global affairs, relative to the President's authorities/responsibilities, should be very carefully limited according to the consitution. Not policing, not feeding the world but to manage trade and commerce responsibly. Ron Paul has the wisdom and constitutional acumen to accomplish this. Do not be fooled by a one-note (Iraq War) politicians like McCain, Obama, CLinton et al.

The elections are ... ( 1 year ago by kwamena123)
The elections are way ahead of us. None of the candidates would put all their cards on the table right now. The specifics of their policy issues are presented as the primaries draws closer. If you check on Hillary's site, there's basically not a single policy statement, and not even generalities. Yet, the media is giving her a free pass and calling on only Obama to come out with "specifics". Maybe, we should start with the one who claims to be the 'anointed one'.

Credibility again and again. A balancing between responsability and solidariety is the ingredient of a new US leadership and multitask governance for stability and security. And the ingredient of new cosmoplitan humanism. THANKS BARACK!!

Obama's problem is that he won't win. His base is the Youth of America... and problem we have in America is that America's youth do not vote... they're too busy getting drunk. I wish he starts working hard to attract adult population of America who actually get their asses up and go out and vote. OBAMA 2008.

While some of what Obama says is great I have a huge problem because he rarely says "HOW" he will accomplish his goals. Furthermore why in the world does he want to add 92,000 troops to the middle east? Finally why is he a member of the much too powerful council on foreign relations which boasts other notable members such as Dick Chaney, the Bush family and and the Rockefellers who are backing one world governments and undermining the sovereignty of the US and its citizens?

As a 22 year old white female, I believe in what Obama's willing to provide America. Also, IN RESPONSE to an earlier comment to Obama being of youthful favor: Keep in mind that educated politics in all levels of schooling aren't exactly a priority. Perhaps youth would care more[about voting] if they were made aware of what exactly is crucial for their futures[regarding political issues].
