There are heroes... there are superheroes... and then there's Hancock (Will Smith). With great power comes great responsibility -- everyone knows that -- everyone, that is, but Hancock. Edgy, conflicted, sarcastic, and misunderstood, Hancock's well-intentioned heroics might get the job done and save countless lives, but always seem to leave jaw-dropping damage in their wake. The public has finally had enough -- as grateful as they are to have their local hero, the good citizens of Los Angeles are wondering what they ever did to deserve this guy. Hancock isn't the kind of man who cares what other people think -- until the day that he saves the life of PR executive Ray Embrey (Jason Bateman), and the sardonic superhero begins to realize that he may have a vulnerable side after all. Facing that will be Hancock's greatest challenge yet -- and a task that may prove impossible as Ray's wife, Mary (Charlize Theron), insists that he's a lost cause.

Just for the record "racist" doesn't equal "discriminative". It's -good- to discriminate, life will not allow you the time to do everything that you want to do, you -have- to discriminate. And, while I normally discriminate against scientology (you should too) and any cult that I know is legally or physically abusive, I'll probably see this movie.

just because a religion doesnt believe in god means chaos. no one knows if god exists or not but i would prefer he did not. i wouldnt want one being controlling my fate or have to worship them. dont judge a belief you don't understand. im no scientologist but i am agnostic. i believe that nobody knows what is true but i can accept whatever is true

Ive done more than watched a few videos on youtube. Ive got dianetics and science of survival. Im studying hypnosis techniques(which is all scientology is)ive watched the clearing congresses(hubbard uses a couple of different techniques in them to implant thoughts)Comparing $cientology to Christianity is like comparing an open prison to Auschwitz. With Christianity you can come and go but $cientology uses brainwashing and coercive persuasion. search for the "Rehabilitation Project Force"

I watched this movie and it was great!
*SPOILER ALERT*
Turns out that Will Smith and Charlize Theron were married hundreds of years ago, and if they fall in love again they lose their powers and some other people with the powers they have attack them. So at the end, Will Smith becomes a lovable superhero but sadly Charlize and him aren't a couple.
