I just love it when people feel the need to write under every cover/remix how "the original is better".
Guess what, different versions aren't always supposed to be better than the original. They're supposed to be interesting, different and a fresh take on a well known melody.
Original song is great. These guys are great also. I like it.

Hey Zen, i think Oeklama2 meant the original group of Straight No Chaser. This current group is good, but i agree with Oeklama2 the original SNC's version was AMAZING.

he is probably taking care of the high tenor parts....this group isnt bout one person its about working together to make an awesome blend...i like the bass tho cause im a bass myself and i find myself singing the bass part in all these song lmao

the problem is that they only have better than average singers. and lack a few exceptional ones such as jerome back in the original group. its obvious when the tenors have to go and octave higher the spirit of the song is not there.

Yes, they are better than average singers but they are always going to be different than the orignal group. You can't expect them to be the same. This group is still amazing. The tenors are brilliantly capturing "the spirit of the song". It is suppose to be high. Have you heard Toto perform this song?

It's good... Slow down in my opinion. It's better at its original tempo. Even though the refrain is really high it's still lacking in this version, all the sound just disappears.
