This Youtube-clip covers about 1/2 of the original clip. You can see the other 1/2 at a live presentation by futurist Marcel Bullinga -- together with his explanation...
Clip after the essay "Europe in 2020" from the "Futurecheck.eu Knowledgeletter"

In the words of George Orwell when asked what society could do to fight the power of the state:
"Don't let it happen"
Cheap stem cell meat is almost ready (<8 years) to hit the stores.
Congestion problems?
Everybody will work from home (production = done by robots, all other work can be done by computer/virtual reality) and cars will drive (and fly) themselves so congestion will not be a problem.
Europe's future?
Will be horrible. I'm going to move to Asia or Australia. Thanks to our aging population we are in deeper shit than the American economy is. We are just too blind to see it.
About technology. Well oil reserves starting to end, and alternative energy sources would be very important. I don't know about Japan, but EU is in much greater place for alternative energy uses, than USA, Russia or China. So in a next decade, EU would have upper hand.
But still, Silver or Golden ages seams too optimistic
but will we all speak with such dutch (it's dutch right?) accent as well?
The cars are having sex!
By 2030 we will most likely be in a silver or golden age because modernist and leftism have disappeared from Europe and classicisme and romanticism will be the new cultural norm.
Nationalism will produce small, narrow but strong cultural centers.
