I just discovered Rev. Gary - but I was a fan of his MUSIC, ever since 1971 I heard a tape of Hot Tuna's "Death Don't Have no Mercy."
I hope that somebody who reads this post will know how to CORRECT the mis-titled bits of his work on Youtube.
His own rendition, posted as "In this land" is of course wrongly titled.
I also notice that at least one post refers to "Gery Davies" (SIC). Both these simple errors, surely all will agree, SHOULD be rectified, so more searches will be fruitful.

Guess I don't know much about seeger but he sure is damn annoying in all these videos trying to play along with the greats and making himself look like a 1st year student.

Django Reinhardt. Due to being burned he could use only 2 fingers on his left hand. With all due respect to Rev Davis, Reinhardt was a far more advanced guitar player (Jazz) but he was not a singer or song writer.

pete seeger is a legend in his own right so have some respect. i see why you may be annoyed at his trying to play along with everyone but he came from the old days of folk playing where people would all play togeter and join in and enjoy the music and whatnot. plus you have to remember this is his tv show and he's helping show the greats to a wider audience. and just so you know he was a huge figure in the civil rights movement and always fought for justice. and rev davis is amazing.
