Shall I do it mister Cowboy? you certainly miss the point mister cowboy cause dawkins is NOT an atheist. Dawkins tries to show all you blind believers that there is NO proof for God and NO proof for no god. The whole question about God or not is just meaningless in a scientific debate because you can never know. And why he is attack theists is because they are attack all of us by indoctrinating our children and indoctrinating our science with a savage prehistoric book. That is the deal

alright you are now pissing me off. The point I am trying to make is that christian facists don't like it when there ALMIGHTY god gets owned big time by modern scientist. What ticks me off is that you either don't see that same behavior in yourself or you don't care. Furthermore you also don't mind at all when children are taught evolution as irrefutible fact in schols, so you are a pathetic hypocrite. I just figured that one glaringly obvious non-sequitir deserved another.
I was born with hydracephalus so without surgery I would have died very nearly after birth were it not for the original shunt I had as I would have died if it weren't replaced with the one I have now after the original one broke. Being a Christian doesn't mean I am anti-surgery (outside of cosmetic surgery; breast implants, liposuction, et. al.); it means that I firmly believe that God is guiding the surgeon's hand.

It's interesting though that god gave you this condition. Why would he do that? It's true, today there are techniques to deal with it. In the past though there were not. And yet god still thought it was a good idea to allow this to happen. Maybe he wanted babies to die? Maybe he thinks it's funny? I would say that you survived in spite of god, not because of him.

Richard Dawkins is a great man with a clear reasoning and intelligent mind. If the world were atheists maybe we'd all value this life more and live it to the fullest.

I don't think dawking is a man with clear reasoning. He is a fundamentalist ateist that are just as polarizising as those religions that he critizise. If he was an agnostic (wich is the only point of view that could be called scientific or linked with reason) he would have gained more respect from me.

science and reason is surely important for the progres of this world. But ateism is not the fundament of science, and ateism are not having monopoly of reason. With reason you can find new medicine, build bether houses, improve food etc etc.. but that is not a proof for ateism.

Religious people are taking part in science just as much as ateists. Philosophy are just as much a task done on the behalf of relgion as by ateists. He is totaly wrong when he is acusing religious people of being against reason, or that all religion are just an escape from reality. Religion is a way to seek to understand the reality.

Dawkin is giving good questions on religion, but he is not showing any proof against religion, and absolutly no proof for ateism. If he made a more humble entrance with his faith he would have managed to create an atmosphäre of dialog, he is only seeking to devide. That is not going to make this world peaceful.
