Texans are debating if a man who said he was defending his neighbor's property when he shot and killed two suspected burglars was within his rights. He shot the two at his lawn after he left his house...just listen for yourself.
Some think Joe Horn when too far when he shot and killed two men he believed were burglarizing his neighbor's home.

I don't think anyone disagrees with the fact that no one has the right to steal from anyone. But "NO ONE, and I MEAN NO ONE" has the right to kill other people.
That, and the fact that he was given an extremely specific order from an emergency dispatcher telling him to stay inside, means this man ought to be in jail.

I think Mr. Horn had every right to shoot these criminals. "Castle Law" states that you can use force (even deadly force)if some one breaks into your house, car, or work and that may cause violent actions or criminal acts. It's not like he went into a park and killed two random people. He killed two CRIMINALS. The world is a better place becuase of Joe. If he wouldn't of stopped them then the guy down the street would of been robbed or worse murdered because he got in the way.

If he had been in danger that would have been one thing. He was inside a home which presumably had locks on it and he was obviously capable of self defense.
If they had entered his home or property and he feared for his life that would have been one thing. All that was being threatened was property, insignificant in the big picture.

The neighbor did the right thing. He was realy affraid of the guys and wanted them to be stoped. He didn't want to do what he did, I feel the kuys deserved what they got. They should not have broken in that house. What if some one was in the house, I bet they would have killed them on the spot. Let this man go if he is in jail. He does not deserve to be there.
