SNES R-Type 3

Video Description:
Irem blessed not once but twice the Super Nintendo with it's impressive shooter series. And even if I have both R-Type Delta on PS1 and R-Type Final on PS2, It's this one right here, R-Type that is my all time favorite of the series. Every level is perfectly executed, the 3 new forces add some variety, typical huge bosses... this is, for me, THE R-Type. Pick up the GBA poor conversion at your own risk. This is me with Force Type 3 in part of Level 1, until I died.
PS: Out now in The Wii VC in the USA, soon in Europe.

In response to R-Type Command. I have one things to say: If you can play and adapt to games like these, what's stopping you from adapting to a game that lets you have fun and think at the same time?
Command isn't so bad and I'm very sure of this.

only reason i never liked R Type was that you lose all your power ups once you die. having to start all over again sucks. it takes the fun out of schmups. radiant silvergun on the other hand is what shooters should be like.

Although I'm no R-type veteran, and as much as I like Final, I have to agree that 3 is better. The level designs in Final are really boring, and the number of ships doesn't quite make up for it.

R-Type and Gradius series are much different for me, for example Gradius is a bit slower and have a weapon system, while R-Type doesn't have weapon system, it's faster and has this thing that follows ship (i don't remember what is the name of this thing) so it's much different
