It's no less an upgrade from XP to Vista. And your right when i saw spaces the first thing i thought of was linux. But, it doesn't bother me because I want the feature in OSX.

Vista isn't a complete failure by any means. But their are a lot of annoyances and performance issues that need to be addressed. From the leaked release notes of service pack one, I'm guessing it wont be until service pack 2 till all these issues are fully addressed.

I'm gonna put Leopard on my iBook G4 1.42 GHz notebook...I just hope it looks okay using the older screen (instead of the newer glossy screens of the MacBook, MacBook Pro and MacBook Air.

That is called an opinion. The people who say that are being biased. What did Leopard copy from Vista? Transparency. But so what? Nobody cares. There isn't that much point to Aero, the menu bar's transparency and the reflective dock anyway. It's just eye candy.

agreed no point to aero, nor vista in general. Leopard puts everything together better. Vista sucks..... it's on my laptop.. which I'm not going to keep much longer because I'm getting a Mac book. My laptop has upgraded RAM, Video cards, processors, the works, but all the useless vista stuff runs it into the ground. Leopard is better hands down.
