Installing PS2 Eyetoy as a Webcam

Video Description:
This video is taken on a Windows XP computer...A few important notes that many of you might have been wondering while watching..
o In the beginning when you first plug in the eyetoy to the USB port, a message will pop up on the screen wishing to download it to the computer because it doesn't recognize the hardware. Simply cancel out this window and continue with selecting Device Manager via the control panel.
o At the end of the video, I happened to get cut off after the point in which I pressed NO to living in the 50 Hz area. Once this happens, the update is done and you may press finish and begin using your new webcam.
o It's really easy to just download the needed drivers online and that exactly what I did. You can either Google search installing the Eyetoy to your CPU or follow the website link I used in the video.: http://www.iplayplaystation.com/eyetoy-as-webcam
o It's very important to download the necesary drivers either Logitech or Namtai because if you use the opposite it won't work.
Hope my video helps and finally puts that eyetoy collecting dust to good use...

After going to control pannel you should see an icon that says System (click!), if not, and this is what I had to do the first time, press switch to classic view found on the left hand side of the window. usually on XP's and other later versions of window's this is most likely what will happen.. Hope I helped!

at 1:10 on your video none of the options appear or anything its just a plane thing with no trees (i have downloaded the ports and everything and have my eyetoy plugged in) how do i get the tree up?

whenever i install it my internet won't work anymore why is this?
i have a logitech eyetoy and i installed it fine but it won't let me use my internet anymore i had to do system restore like 3 times because i could not use my internet if anyone knows how to install it and still let my internet work i would be very grateful thanks!

usually, if you do this, theimage tends to flicker a bit... but it's easy to fix... just reinstall the eyetoy and you should be fine :)
