Because neither Noah, nor his neighbours ever existed.
It might be much more convenient to bury your head in the sand but the question is, whether you're really looking for the truth, or just try to believe in something because it's more conveniant to you.
John 18:37 Pilate therefore said unto Him, art Thou a king then? Jesus answered, thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth My voice.
"The unbelievers among the People of the Book and the pagans shall burn for ever in the fire of Hell. They are the vilest of all creatures." Koran 98:1-8
(People of the Book = Christians and Jews)
However after questioning atheism, and evolution, I am fully convinced of it's falsehood.
Joshua 24:15 and if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
You may not believe, after all it is written in the scripture that many who hear will turn away and fall into deeper corruption. However I have found that people don't like the Bible. The Truth hurts, and they do everything in their power to suppress it. Just as it is written that they will do so, so it is.
There is no power in the words of the koran.
And yes, sometimes the truth hurts especially when our steady beliefs are questioned. No one likes uncertainty. It's just human nature.
"There is no power in the words of the koran."
Then why is it the fastest growing religion in the world? Why is it expacted to overtake Christianity in the middle of the 21st century?
It is written that many false prophets will arise in the last days and deceive many. The vast majority of the human race will turn away from Jesus Christ. All of this has been told to us beforehand, and just as it is written, so it is.
Honestly, the time came when I actually began to question what I was being taught and in fact brainwashed with.
That's when I began reasoning with myself, and thinking critically. I came to the conclusion that, life comes from life, it's impossible for soup to suddenly develop into a complex single cell.
Running out of room.
I decided to believe God instead of man.
What really tipped me off was simply reading the Bible, I was astonished. Especially after prayer, it became clear to me that it was true all along. I looked at the world and scripture accurately described every single aspect of life and the character of man and the world.
It made sense. I experienced conviction over sin, a new nature, just as the Bible said I would.
"For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works. Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom." Matthew 16:27-28
Unfortunately though, I didn't hear about anyone who is about 2000 years old and still lives.
But thanks that at least you try to answer my questions...
It is written: Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!
and again: Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come! It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.
