Given the definition of beauty in today's media, it seems that the Black woman is singled out because she's different. I think this is where the insecurity comes from. So instead of dealing with the insecurity and realizing that their beauty is unique and a good thing, some Black women take their frustrations out on women of other races. It's sad but true. The good thing is that times are changing and so is the definition of beauty.

That's not true, I am black too, whether you like it or not. It's part of who I am and the people I love and care about...but so are whites. If anything, being mixed helps to blur the lines so that everything in the world isn't just black and white. Blacks and whites are full of themselves if they think the world revolves around them and their problems. I understand being hurt and angry, but you can't overcome it if you don't move on from it. Blacks are better than that and they KNOW it.
