OMG, the memories are all flooding back. I loved this game so much. It made me sad in a bunch of it, like when Porom & Polom turned into statues. I loved them, and when Rydia and Edge lost their parents :(. (Not that they shared the same parents of course lol).

Kain is way older than Rydia, so Edge and Rydia would make a lot more sense together, especially given how much Edge flirts with her throughout the game. I do like Kain better as a Character though.

FF4 was one of the hardest RPG games out there. It had a good ending, so I don't know what you're talking about. FF is so much better than Zelda. Zelda and Link get boring after 100 games. FF on the other hand stays fresh.

Porom and Palom got me too. gets me every time i play it.. after you kill the mist dragon and rydia tries to fight you always gets me kinda too.

Because he also loves Rosa. Watching her marrying someone else would be painful. I think he secludes himself to train so he can forget about the loss of her.
Poor Kain. Not only is his love unreturned, but his final weapons in this game were disappointingly weak, and he gets mind-controlled twice. That guy has crap luck.
Nonetheless, he's one of my favorite characters.
