I do understand Vieth's point on the changing of the Ten Commandments. Maybe this infraction was necessary at that time to bring all the pagans into the fold (you're all very welcome, btw!). However, I'm not willing to stray from the apostolic tradition over this point.

We all need to think about what GOD wants from us and NOT stick to traditions of men.
After all, if we're NOT pleasing God, what's the point in believing/serving Him?

Please remember that all through out the Bible, God's true people were always the minority. As long as sin is here, God's government will never ever be the majority. If there is 1 largest body of "Christians" in the world, and it is by far a majority, then you should do you own research and really compare it for yourself if it holds up word-for-word to the Bible. I was never taught evolution, I looked at both arguments, found a much evidence for each one as I could, and realized creationism makes little sense and the physical evidence for evolution makes it a useful, explanatory and predictive. If you think evolution is just crap, you don't understand it, God cannot explain endogenous retroviruses unless he is flawed, or evil. He says virtually nothing about evolution here.

the point is not to explain evolution, or show evidence against it. Most people already have a predisposition to each belief. It is only by faith that you accept creationism. There is plenty of evidence that supports it, but no one can be forced to believe in it by empirical evidence. Only by faith can anyone accept creationism, wether it is with evidence or without it.

There is a difference between macroevolution and microevolution. New diseases, bacteria, and viruses do "evolve" but come from others like them. It's a mutation. Some of those have RNA which mutates faster than DNA.
