***Ron Paul's "Revolution" is officially over as his support has lost momentum. He was on CNN this morning and announced to the world that his longshot chance at the presidency was concluded. John McCain has officially now secured the GOP nomination.
Ron Paul had a last ditch effort of appointing delegates at the convention, but after being shut out of the Nevada GOP due to a rule change, he figured it was a lost cause.
He has announced that he will not run as an independent.
The libertarian minded maverick has been shunned by most members of the GOP for his opposition to the War, and his outlandish economic policies such as abolishing the IRS and the federal reserve.
