"Freddie" is the character in the film who was a small time (weak-minded)hustler for drug dealer, "Priest"....played by Ron O'Neal. Again, Mayfield delivers a smooth rich melody that sends a powerful message. Mayfield will never be forgotten. His genius lives on through his fans...whivh I am a BIG one!
