i'm think he's climb to fast for his speed, so he get a stall and with his altitude he hasn't got a chance to recover his plan, but thats my oppinion and not a fact.....
Maybe other person knows exactly what happens....

my theory is that they guy had too much thrust, and at the same time, way too much drift upwards performed in a very sudden movment.. making the plane to perform a kinda "back-flip" movement... he attempts to level with the ground by decreasing the thrust very hard, which results in a powerful negative acceleration and loses speed. Not enough speed = fall down :)
