Garretspool buddy i think your a bit confused BHP is measured on a chassis dyno at the wheels.Thats what i do in my auto shop in California tuning cars using the dyno .BHP is the best way to measure horsepower as it's the ammount you have to use not the ammount at the engine as you lose 20-30 % in the driveline .Catch you later Joe

After seeing all these comments and thinking that most of you are wrong, I was motivated to spend about an hour researching & reading about the different hp measurements worldwide, including bhp. Brake hp is measured at the engines output shaft, NOT the wheels. The term bhp comes from a device used to measure torque at the output shaft of an engine called the de Prony Brake. It is also typically measured without the engine driving any auxiliary components. So simply put Garret was right.
