u no wats kinda funny, ive watched a lot of the les mis songs and with the very occasional exception of master of the house and a few others, people say they cry at every song. I know this is a moving play and it is very good, but to cry every time u hear any song in this play? come on, its not that sad, plus its youtube. Love the play, just yall r odd

Fantine was a "child of the revolution". She was found, at the age of 4, wandering around in a crowd rioters in Paris. No one knew her parents. Before she died she was reduced to selling her front teeth in order to pay for the up-keep of her small daughter. This was an incredible book - all 1400+ pages of it. It leads the reader to the conclusion that the human soul is the presence of God in an otherwise evil and devastating world.

maybe certain people cry at certain songs but they pile up on youtube so it looks like everybody cries at every song? :P like, my favorite song is in les miserables, but if everyone whose favorite song is in the musical writes so on youtube, i guess it could look like people in general are being overdramatic when in fact they really mean it :)

Ruthie Henshall is unquestionably my favourite Fantine, but the only problem is she's almost too lovely - it's not credible to me that any man in his right mind could possibly dump her, child or no! :)
